It’s time to start thinking about the Garlic Festival being held in Delray this coming February (10th – 12th). This tasty event, previously featured on the Food Network, will be held on February 10 from 4:00 pm – 11:00 pm, February 11 from 11:00 am – 11:00 pm and February 12 from 11:00 am – 7:00 pm at SE 5th Ave (North Swinton Ave. and the grounds of the Historical Old School Square). Come out and enjoy Garlic Crab Cake Platter, Garlic Roast Pork Platter, Garlic Steak Taco & even Garlic Ice Cream!
Performances for the 2012 event include G. Love & Special Sauce, Uncle Kracker, the Jay Blues Band among others.
So, grab the family (and me)… head out and have a stinking good time while supporting a good cause. To date, the Garlic Festival has donated over $350,000 to over 16 local charities through Delray Beach Arts, Inc. to support local non-profit organizations serving education and the arts for youth.
Tickets cost $10 per person, per day and are available here.
VIP tickets are available through Voice Daily Deals for $24 for the next 10 hours (normally $48). The cost includes 2 entry tickets, 4 drink tickets and entry to the drawing to Meet & Greet the performers.
Free parking will be available at Delray Beach City Hall.
