Born in New York City in 1969, Liza Lou‘s Kitchen (1991-1996) introduced glass beads as her primary art material. Every surface is covered with tiny glass beads—from walls to newspaper to a bag of chips—all glued by hand.
I'm a creative who's started this site mostly for personal reasons: to find things happening locally, compile recipes, cocktails and anything random that may come my way. I'm jewelry artist (beYOUteous), a sucker for beautiful colors, a person curious about the world and constantly trying to learn something new. In my spare time, I dream about digital marketing (eBrandMe), dabble in photography (Creative Market), other crafts and enjoy the occasional cartoon.
